The Psalmistry
1. I may face trials,
times filled with pain.
Troubles may fall
like the rain.
Yet do those teach me,
help me to know,
where to draw strength,
where to go.
My Lord will direct me.
My Lord is my guide.
My faithful companion
is there at my side.
My Lord will sustain me,
mind, body and soul.
My Lord will be with me
wherever I go.
2. My prayer in morning,
my prayer at night:
may God be ever my light.
Be, God, my comfort,
be there in need.
Be, God, my hope,
be my creed.
My faith will direct me.
My faith is my guide.
My faithful companion
is there at my side.
My faith will sustain me,
mind, body and soul.
My faith will be with me
wherever I go.

Lord, feel this, my love for You,
trust in You,
trust in Your Word.
Lord, hear this, my thanks to You,
all You do
Your love is true.
ENDING
Your love will direct me.
Your love is my guide.
Your faithful companion
is there at my side.
