Praise the Lord,
may His Name be lifted up,
for the Lord has lifted up me.

1. I exalt You, gracious God.
You lifted me from the depths, the grave!
I called to You, and in Your mercy was I saved.
2. Weeping lasts but for a night.
Rejoicing comes with Your morning light!
You favored me.
With You this mountain could stand firm.
3. In my troubles, You were there.
You heard, gave answer to my plea, my prayer.
Pain turned to joy.
Long shall my heart sing of Your care!
