The Psalmistry
1. You showed favor to this land,
forgave iniquity.
Be with us yet once again,
our Savior, Deity!
Turn away Your anger, Lord.
Forgive us of our sin.
That we may rejoice in You,
revive us once again.
Will Your anger be with us
throughout all generations?
Or, in Your great unfailing love,
will You grant us salvation?
God will give us what is good, and
our land will bear God's bounty.
Righteousness goes ere our God
to prepare for us the Way.
2. I will listen to my Lord,
and all that God may say.
Peace is given unto those
who follow in His Way.
God's salvation is at hand
for those who learn to fear.
That God's glory be with us,
now let us hold Him near.
Love and faithfulness will meet;
Peace, righteousness be as brethren.
Faithfulness shall spring from earth
as God shines down from Heaven.
God will give us what is good, and
our land will bear God's bounty.
Righteousness goes ere our God
to prepare for us the Way.
