VINDICATE ME (PSALM 43)

1. Vindicate me against the foe.
Take up my cause in this godless country.
Rescue me Lord. I am laid low.
I need your help against my enemy.

God of my strength,
why have you forsaken me?
E'er now to mourn;
Oppressed by my enemy?

2. Send forth Your Truth. Send forth Your Light.
Guides they will be to Your home, O my King.
To You I go: my joy and delight.
To you such praises in psalms I will bring!

Why so troubled?
Oh, my soul, why filled with mourning?
Put your hope in God.
E'er will I praise You, my King!
