WHEN WILL YOU COMFORT ME? (PSALM 119:81-KAPH)

My soul faints with such longing for salvation!
When will You comfort me?
When will You comfort me, O Lord?
My eyes fail in the looking for your promise.
When will You comfort me?
When will You comfort me, O Lord?

1. Though a wineskin in the smoke,
I've held to your decrees.
But how long must this servant wait
until You comfort me?

2. Godless men dig pits for me;
attack me without cause.
But though they've beat me to the ground,
I've held fast to Your laws.
