GOD'S KING IS PLACED UPON THE HILL (PSALM 2)

1. Why do the nations plot in vain,
and stand against the Lord?
Though "Break the chains"
is their refrain,
God's wrath is their reward.

2. God's King is placed upon the Hill,
proclaimed by God's decree:
"This is my Son,
the Chosen One,
to rule eternally."

3. Beware ye rulers of the earth,
and serve the Lord with fear.
And kiss the Son,
for life is won,
by those who keep Him near.
